Only One Earth

UNITED NATIONS

One place where the world's nations can gather together, discuss common problems and find shared solutions

The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. Currently made up of 193 Member States. The UN and its work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter. The UN has evolved over the years to keep pace with a rapidly changing world. But one thing has stayed the same: it remains the one place on Earth where all the world’s nations can gather together, discuss common problems, and find shared solutions that benefit all of humanity.

Rotaract Mora Model United Nations

Rotaract Mora Model United Nations is implemented by the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa. It hosts a vast number of subprojects. Sri Lanka Rotaract Model United Nations is the largest subproject driven by RMMUN.

Solutions in resolutions passed become the basis of Rotaract Mora Projects

"Our vision is to discern a perfect Cosmopolitanism through diplomacy & global understanding, leading and empowering the backbone of the country, 'youth', providing them a solid platform to harness their potential to make an impactful change."

OUR VISION

Lunar Lander

"Inaugurate & effectuate a sophisticated arena for young leaders to unveil their hidden capabilities while improving themselves as better communicators, open-minded diplomats and soft-skilled professionals through the practice of Model United Nations."

OUR MISSION

What makes Rotaract Mora Model United Nations outstand from the other MUN attempts is the fact that we do not simply speak and end it there. As we are a part of the Rotaract movement, we always select the topics for our activities in a way so that most of them are aligned with our ongoing projects. Once we get the outcome, we will be implementing the feasible solutions through our other projects.
